There are two ways to reach the island of Vis – by ferry or catamaran. Upon arrival in the town of Vis, you can continue to Komiža by bus or taxi.
Important notice: The bus timetable is coordinated with the arrivals and departures of the regular state-operated ferry (Jadrolinija) and Krilo catamaran services.
The new seasonal Jadrolinija high-speed passenger service, operating from 19 June to 13 September 2026, is not connected to the bus service between Vis and Komiža. Passengers travelling on this route are advised to arrange alternative transport, such as a taxi or private vehicle.
