There are two ways to reach the island of Vis – by ferry or catamaran. Upon arrival in the town of Vis, you can continue to Komiža by bus or taxi.
Important notice: The bus timetable is coordinated with the arrivals and departures of the regular state-operated ferry (Jadrolinija) and Krilo catamaran services.
The new seasonal Jadrolinija high-speed passenger service, operating from 19 June to 13 September 2026, is not connected to the bus service between Vis and Komiža. Passengers travelling on this route are advised to arrange alternative transport, such as a taxi or private vehicle.
PARKING IN KOMIŽA - INFORMATION FOR VISITORS
Welcome to Komiža! For visitors arriving by car, public parking area “Rogači” is available. Please check the parking options and rules below to make your stay more comfortable.
🚗 Hourly parking
• 1 hour: EUR 1.30
• Available for cars, trucks, vans, quad vehicles and motorcycles.
🅿️ Daily parking ticket (24 hours)
• Price: EUR 16.00
• Valid for 24 hours.
• Please note: once the vehicle leaves the parking area, re-entry during the same daily ticket period is not possible. A new parking fee will apply upon return.
⭐ Weekly parking ticket (7 days)
• Price: EUR 80.00
• Allows unlimited entry and exit during the validity period of the weekly ticket.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VISITORS

• The free parking period is 15 minutes from the moment the vehicle enters the parking area.
• Please keep your parking ticket or RFID card during your entire stay.
• Parking cards are valid only for the registered vehicle and cannot be transferred to another vehicle.
• The parking service provider cannot guarantee an available parking space.
