Carob Day 2026

Komiza is celebrating the carob tree, one of the most important trees on the island of Vis and an essential part of the island’s tradition and diet. The program offers walks, flavors, music, and stories dedicated to this precious plant.

11:00 – “Paths of the Carob Tree” – a guided walking tour with a certified guide through locations connected to the carob tree / departure in front of the Town Hall (Komuna)
18:00 – Sale of cakes and products made from carob / Riva waterfront
20:00 – Music evening under the stars (tenors Vladimir Grarić, Đani Stipaničev)
