Blue World Vis: "Whales of the Adriatic Sea" Workshop (6–10 yrs)

By participating in the "Whales of the Adriatic Sea" workshop, children (ages 6 to 10) are introduced to the basics of the biology and ecology of dolphins and other cetaceans that inhabit the Adriatic Sea, as well as to methods used in marine mammal research. Through independent activities and play, they become familiar with the concept of scientific research in biology, develop their ability to observe important details, strengthen their analytical thinking skills, and cultivate a respectful attitude toward nature. The workshop also fosters awareness of the importance of conserving and protecting the natural environment and encourages an interest in the natural sciences.
